Holly Russell is a 19-year-old motorsport athlete with a lifelong passion for racing and a strong record of success across multiple disciplines. Known for her adaptability and competitive mindset, Holly has progressed through off-road racing, speedway, and now sprint car competition at a young age.
During the 2024–2025 season, Holly competed in an F2 Midget with BSL Racing, marking her first full season in speedway. She made an immediate impression in the class, securing strong results and achieving podium finishes, demonstrating her ability to adapt quickly to high-intensity speedway racing.
Prior to speedway, Holly built an impressive resume in off-road racing. She is a 2x national champion, earning 1NZ titles in both the Modkart and Stadium Buggy classes. Her off-road career includes numerous podiums and overall victories, highlighted by class wins at major national events and consistent top-level performances.
Holly’s transition into speedway further showcased her versatility, with podium finishes in the F2 Midget category. Her results across multiple classes reflect not only natural talent, but also strong race craft, discipline, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
For the 2025–2026 season, Holly has taken the next major step in her career, relocating to Australia while also travelling to the United States to compete in a 360 Sprintcar with Hoover Racing based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Racing throughout America during the 2026 season marks a major milestone in Holly’s journey, allowing her to gain experience at a higher level of competition while continuing to develop her sprint car career on an international stage.
Motorsport has always been more than a passion for Holly, it is her purpose. With championship experience, podium results across multiple disciplines, and a clear upward trajectory, she is focused on building a professional racing career and making her mark on the Australian and American speedway scene, with aspirations to continue progressing internationally in the years ahead.
